LIES OF P ALPHA SERIES
The game is slated for a 2023 release and will come out on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series consoles and PC. In interviews, director Jiwon Choi revealed that the game will have a "lying" system in which players will be forced to choose between telling the truth or lying about certain events and that these choices would alter the story. On August 23rd, 2022, NeoWiz released a gameplay trailer (shown below, left), and 12 minutes of gameplay footage was released online later that day (shown below, right). The teaser showed off Pinocchio as the protagonist using a myriad of weapons and buffs. GameSpot's upload of the teaser (shown below) gained over 1.1 million views in 10 months. On November 8th, 2021, NeoWiz released the alpha teaser for Lies of P. Polygon compared the look of the game to Bloodborne, a comparison that stuck with the game through subsequent trailers and announcements. It shows off the city of Krat, an English town that has befallen a plague. The video, published by IGN, gained over 1.1 million views in one year (shown below). On May 19th, 2021, NeoWiz released the announcement trailer for Lies of P.
